In addition to the above Amanda is active in equine performance research and has previously presented her findings at the Alltech Conference (2013 & 2017). Amanda is also part of the MAA Research Group which works towards publication of scientific studies, aiding MSc student dissertations and publicising chiropractic and performance research within the industry.  Amanda is currently interested in equine biomechanics, horse and rider interaction and pressure algometry and hopes to conduct further research into these topic areas.

More about amanda...

Since a young age Amanda has been involved with horses and still to this day her passion for horses grows. Being brought up amongst the mist of 10+ horses, Amanda has successfully turned her hand to many skills within the industry ranging from producing homebreds to exracehorse rehabilitation and reschooling. Amanda currently aims to affiliate her homebred 'Zorro' in the showjumping ring and compete her exracehorse rescue 'Minky' on the RoR and dressage circuit. Amanda has strong morals regarding giving back to the industry and therefore, provides her services to Teckles Animal Sanctuaries and The Racehorse Welfare Centre as well as sponsoring grassroot riders in various disciplines (See our Sponsorship page for more info). Outside of horses Amanda has two Jack Russel Terrors ;-).... Daisy and Percy who very much keep her on her toes when away from horses!
